For more than 25 years I've been working as a freelancer in the DACH market, mainly as a Java backend developer. Project search is part of the job - but it's gotten worse over the years, not better. Portals that flood you with inquiries. Agents who collect CVs and never call back. The same client project showing up from multiple different contractors.
I worked with paper notes for a long time, then Excel. At some point it became clear: the real problem isn't managing the inquiries, it's that nobody evaluates them first. You read every single one because you don't know whether there's a real project behind it or just a CV collector.
I started evaluating my inquiries with ChatGPT, but still kept losing track. So I sat down and automated the entire process: DealFilter analyzes every inquiry in seconds, evaluates the important factors, helps with overview and follow-up, and deciding what to respond to - and what not.
Who is behind this?
DealFilter is a product of omninoo GmbH, a one-person company I founded for my freelance contracting work. DealFilter is built through the efficient collaboration between human expertise and experience on one side and modern AI on the other. This isn't a Silicon Valley team project, it's an honest response to a problem I experience every month myself.
