Refund Policy

General Principle

DealFilter.ai offers a fair refund policy. We want our customers to be satisfied - if the service does not meet your expectations, we will find a solution.

Payment Processing via Polar

Payment processing for DealFilter.ai is handled by Polar Software Inc. as Merchant of Record. Polar issues the invoice and is the payment recipient. Refund requests are processed by us and paid out by Polar, subject to Polar's technical capabilities and payment processing policies. The actual credit to your account may take an additional 5-10 banking days beyond our internal processing time, depending on your payment provider.

Free Trial

Every new user receives a free 14-day trial period with full access to all Premium features. No charges apply during the trial - no payment method is required.

Paid Subscriptions

(1) Subscriptions (Essential, Premium) are billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled at any time before the end of the current billing period.

(2) After cancellation, access remains until the end of the paid period. A pro-rated refund for the current billing period is generally not provided.

Termination by the Provider

If the Provider terminates a paid subscription pursuant to § 9 of the Terms of Service, users with an annual subscription will receive a pro-rated refund for the remaining full months from the effective date of termination. For monthly subscriptions, no refund applies as the subscription ends at the close of the current billing period.

14-Day Refund Window

(1) If you are unsatisfied within 14 days of the first payment of a new subscription, you may request a full refund.

(2) This applies only to the first payment of a new subscription, not to renewals.

Exceptions

A refund is excluded if:

  • The user has already consumed more than 50% of the credits included in the current billing period (visible in the account settings)
  • A violation of the Terms of Service has occurred
  • The refund request is submitted more than 14 days after payment

How to Request a Refund

Send your refund request by email to [JavaScript erforderlich] with the following information:

  • The email address of your DealFilter.ai account
  • Reason for the refund request

We process refund requests within 5 business days and forward the approval to Polar. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the original payment.

Chargebacks - Please Contact Us First

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider, please contact us at [JavaScript erforderlich]. In most cases, we can resolve your concern faster and more easily than the formal chargeback process. Unjustified chargebacks - meaning chargebacks for payments for which no refund entitlement exists under this policy - may result in immediate account suspension.
